Egypt’s Journalists Syndicate approved distinguished Palestinian reporter and Al-Jazeera’s Gaza bureau chief Wael al-Dahdouh the 2024 Freedom of Press Award on 7 January– in honor of the strength of al-Dahdouh and other Palestinian reporters.
