Whatsapp is back online, but now it seems like Apple is having problems of its own, with the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Podcasts, Apple Music, and more all going down in what seems like a very bad day for the Internet.

According to Downdetector, one of IGN’s sister sites, reports of outages started spiking around 3pm PT and have remained high since. App Store has been trending on X/Twitter as a result.

“Users are experiencing a problem with this service. We are investigating and will update the status as more information becomes available,” Apple’s system status page says.

The outage seems to have affected virtually of Apple’s services, including the likes of Arcade and Books. In short, those reliant on Apple’s “walled garden” will probably have to sit tight and maybe put their iPhones away for a while.

It’s unclear what’s behind these disruptions or if they’re in any way connected, but Internet infrastructure is unstable in the best of times. We will continue to add to this article with updates as they appear.
