The renowned faith-based kids’s series VeggieTales turned 30 on Thursday, with fans and filmmakers alike commemorating a task that changed Christian home entertainment and formed the youths of many people.

The concept for VeggieTales concept was birthed in puppetry.
“We wished to take what we performed in puppetry and put it into video,” Nawrockistated in 2022 in a short article on the site of David Lipscomb University, where he teaches. “Larry’s voice, I initially utilized in puppetry. Phil was a bit more major and driven, and Larry was a little bit more silly like me. We connected to each other as pals the exact same method Bob and Larry associate with each other.”
