‎US oil inventories drop for first time this year: EIA

United States petroleum stocks saw a higher-than-expected drop in the week ended Jan. 12, information from the United States Energy Information Administration (EIA) revealed. Gas stocks and extract stocks increased.

Petroleum stocks reduced by 2.5 million barrels throughout the week, versus expectations of a drop of 600,000 barrels.

Recently, the United States gas stocks increased by 3.1 million barrels. Extract stocks were up by about 2.4 million barrels.
