Uncle killed after intervening in nephew’s dispute with woman

Twenty-nine-year-old Ricardo Rhomes, a chef of Rose Heights, St James, was charged with murder in connection with the death of his uncle on Boxing Day.

Rhomes was charged with the murder of 55-year-old Bently Vaughns, a mason of the very same address as the implicated.

Reports from the Montego Bay authorities are that about 2am, Rhomes had a run-in with a lady when Vaughns stepped in.

A conflict established in between Rhomes and Vaughns, when Rhomes apparently pulled a knife and stabbed the now deceased on his hand.

It is declared that Vaughns was helped inside his home when Rhomes began the door and assaulted him with the weapon. Vaughns was apparently stabbed numerous times to the left side of his chest.

The authorities were summoned, and Vaughns was required to the medical facility where he was noticable dead.

Rhomes was collared and charged after a question-and-answer session in the existence of his lawyer.

A court date for him is being settled for the implicated, the authorities stated.
