UK Approves Over 90,000, Companies, Organisations Eligible To Sponsor Nigerians’ Work Visa In 2024

January 16, (THEWILL) – The United Kingdom has approved about 99,856 companies and organisations, eligible to sponsor skilled immigrants through the temporary worker immigration route.

According to the updated information on its website, the latest list, updated on January 12, 2024, now includes 99,856 approved companies. It marked an increase of 31,226 companies compared to the 68,630 approved as of January 2023.

The companies in the list cut across technology, commerce, education, media and advertisement and engineering sectors, among several others.

The skilled worker’s route caters to diverse categories of people including charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, global business mobility, senior or specialist workers and international sportspersons.

In an official note on its website, the UK government wrote, “This document lists worker and temporary worker sponsors. It includes, information about the category of workers they’re licenced to sponsor and their sponsorship rating.

“The skilled worker route includes charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, global business mobility senior or specialist workers, and international sportspersons.”

Interested persons are advised to visit the company’s website and search for available vacancies.

Some of the companies include: RSS Express Ltd T/A Ledbury Fuel Service Station, IECC Care (Independent Excel Care Consortium Limited, AboutCare Hastings Ltd, £ ESS Ltd, Architect UK Ltd, Home Accommodation Services Ltd, Ur Eaz Ltd, Infiniti Limited, Brunswick Stores Limited and Plus Care Ltd, 003 Ltd.

Others are: 0086 Ltd, 00Nation Limited, 01 Accounting Services Ltd, 012 Global Ltd, 023 Ltd, 0xA Technologies Ltd,1 Ace Training Limited, 1 and 1 Rougamo Limited, 1 and 5 Tech Ltd and 1 Answer Insurance Services Ltd, among others.

The UK has a range of visa programmes for foreigners but started the implementation of a visa ban on dependants on January 1, 2024.
