Sweeney went on to state, “That’s undoubtedly not real,” and gushed about her fiancé who co-produced the movie with her. In a last gag, when it came time to pan to her fiancé in the audience, it was none other than a beaming Powell.
“That’s not my fiancé!” she stated, “He’s in my dressing space backstage!”
That wasn’t the only time Powell appeared to satirize the girlfriend-stealing accusations in the episode.
