Another day of courtroom drama.
We’re just 3 days into Trump’s trial, however there’s currently been lots of drama– from Trump being revealed memes of himself throughout jury choice to the previous president’s random fight with Jimmy Kimmel on his off day.
Stephen Colbert fasted to leap to Kimmel’s defence on Wednesday, much like he fasted to take a couple of more jabs at the president on Thursday while concluding the trial’s 3rd day.
“It’s simply day 3 of the hush cash trial here in New York, New York, the city that never ever sleeps– unless you’re Donald Trump in a courtroom,” Colbert states in the clip above, before buffooning Trump’s Truth Social post groaning that he isn’t enabled limitless jury strikes.
“Yes, strikes,” states Colbert. “Famously limitless. That’s why umpires shout, ‘Strike 3! You’re at the start of a gorgeous journey.'”
