(UPDATE) FOR the very first time in months, an objective to resupply Philippine soldiers stationed at Ayungin Shoal in the West Philippine Sea was finished on Friday without disturbance from Chinese ships, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) reported.

“Mission achieved! Today, we performed a perfect rotation and resupply objective operation for BRP Sierra Madre,” AFP spokesperson Col. Francel Margareth Padilla published on her Twitter account on Friday.
