THE Senate approved on second reading Senate Bill (SB) 2505, or the proposed Eddie Garcia law, on Monday, February 12.
Sen. Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada, chairman of the Senate Committee on Labor, said the bill aims to protect movie and television workers from abuse, long working hours, harassment, hazardous working conditions and economic exploitation.
