RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs the World: Who are the queens appearing and how to watch season 2

A second season of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK vs the World is just around the corner and once again some of this country’s most glamorous drag queens will be going head-to-head with their international cousins. The new season comes after the first, which aired in March 2022, was a huge success.

The BBC have revealed that there will be 11 contestants from seven countries, including two from the US version and four from the UK. £50,000 is at stake for the winner of the spin-off series.

Season one’s champion was UK drag star Blu Hydrangea so hopefuls will be looking to emulate her success. Do you watch Drag Race? Let us know in the comments.

But who are this season’s queens and how can you watch season two of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK vs the World? Here’s everything you need to know.

Who are the queens appearing on Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK vs the World season 2?



Tia Kofi

Tia Kofi is one of the queens representing the UK

Representing the UK are Gothy Kendoll, Tia Kofi, Choriza May, and Jonbers Blonde. Gothy Kendoll is famously known as the first queen eliminated from the UK edition of Drag Race, while Tia Kofi was a fan favourite from season two of the series where she placed seventh. Choriza May appeared on season three of Drag Race UK where she placed joint sixth, while Jonbers Blonde was the finalist for season four which was ultimately won by Danny Beard.

From the US are Mayhem Miller and Scarlet Envy, who both have a long history with the show. Mayhem Miller originally appeared in season 10 of RuPaul’s Drag Race and later returned for season five of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars and appeared in the RuPaul’s Drag Race Holi-slay spectacular. Scarlet Envy first appeared in season 11 of the flagship series, and she returned for season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars in 2021.

Elsewhere Arantxa Castilla-La Mancha is representing Spain on the series after appearing in the first season of Drag Race España, Hannah Conda hails from Australia and was the finalist for season two of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under. Keta Minaj is representing Holland after starring in season two of Drag Race Holland, where she reached the semi-finals, and Drag Race France’s season one finalist La Grande Dame is also ready to return to the competition.

Drag Race Philippines star Marina Summers is also set to appear on the programme, she was a finalist on her season. The queen follows in the footsteps of Drag Race Philippines judge Jiggly Caliente, who has a long history with the series having appeared in season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race and later season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.
