A regional North Carolina radio host reacted to claims from the White House that press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre did not hang up on him throughout an interview.
“There’s no concern in my mind [that] she hung up,” 99.3 WBT Charlotte News Director Mark Garrison stated on “America’s Newsroom” Thursday.
“Look, I’ve done great deals of these type of interviews before where individuals are on a tight schedule,” he stated, “and when you start to lack time, they just state, ‘I’m sorry, I need to go.'”
“There was none of that,” Garrison included.

In a previous remark to Fox News Digital, White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates stated, “As she typically does when the President journeys, Karine had numerous back-to-back interviews with radio stations who were each provided 7 minutes. When the agreed-upon time was over, she called into the next interview so everybody might get their full-time.”
At one point in his initial interview with Jean-Pierre on Tuesday, Garrison questioned whether Biden has “dementia,” specifying that “a variety of individuals” he outlined the interview asked for that he ask her that question.
Jean-Pierre called the concern “exceptionally offending” and implicated Garrison of “taking us down this bunny hole.”
After protecting Biden’s record, she stated, “And so I’m not even going to really, really, truly, you understand, take, take the facility of your concern. I believe it is extremely insulting. And, therefore we can, you understand, we can carry on to the next concern.”
Following a conversation about the economy, Jean-Pierre ended the call, stating, “And, and with that, thank you a lot, Mark. Have a remarkable, incredible day.”

Fort later on stated that the White House at first connected to him for the interview.
“What amazed me was that she stated she was so upset by the concern,” Garrison stated Thursday. “The truth that it nearly captured her by surprise, I was stunned by that truly.”
When inquired about Biden’s possibilities in North CarolinaGarrison stated that Trump is regularly ballot ahead of Biden.
“At this point, I believe Trump can pull it out,” he stated.
