Hey there one and all, and welcome to today’s edition of Box Art Brawl

It seems like just the other day that we took a look at Kirby Super Star‘s box art versions, yet here we are! In recently’s fightwe had a traditional three-way brawl to identify whether North America, Europe, or Japan would triumph.

Well, after counting and confirming the votes (i.e. pushing the convenient ‘Results’ button), it was eventually Japan that took home the prize with 44%. The United States and Canada wasn’t far behind with 38%, however regretfully Europe simply could not maintain and just handled 18%.

This time, we’re moving from ‘Super Star’ to ‘Sticker Star’ with Paper Mario: Sticker Star for the Nintendo 3DS. Now, it’s safe to state that this one most likely does not top the ranking of ‘Best Paper Mario Games’ (in truth, we understand it does nothowever it still has its beauties.

No matter what you make from the video game, nevertheless, there’s no rejecting that both box art variations here are outright bangers, and we believe this one will be a quite close call. It’s your say though, folks, so get voting!

Make certain to cast your votes in the survey listed below; however initially, let’s take a look at package art creates themselves.

The United States and Canada

Okay, so taking a look at the North American box art initially, you’ve got a charming yellow background loaded with stars, which truthfully feels sort of apt for a Paper Mario video game, in some way. Mario himself is whacking a sticker label Goomba, while an entire lot of other sticker label characters make up the surrounding location. It’s cool, there’s a lot going on, and we like the feline in the bottom left corner. Meow.

Europe/ Japan

The European and Japanese box art, on the other hand, locations Mario in a more contextual setting which truly displays the paper-esque environment and characters. It feels a bit much easier on the eyes, with less going on, however still hectic adequate to look intriguing and enjoyable. Poor Toad’s having a best mare in both variations however, isn’t he? Poor guy.

Thanks for voting! We’ll see you next time for another round of package Art Brawl.
