Non-institutional foreign financiers’ ownership in Tadawul-noted equities, omitting Saudi Aramco, increased in the week ended March 28 to 9.6% of the overall market price, or SAR 338.7 billion, from 9.5% in the previous week, market information revealed.

The ownership of non-institutional foreign financiers is represented by swap holders in addition to resident and competent foreign financiers (QFIs). It does not consist of the tactical ownership of institutional financiers.

GCC financiers’ ownership in Saudi equities, leaving out Saudi Aramco, increased from 2.02% to 2.07% of the overall market capitalization, or SAR 72.9 billion, by the end of the week.

Foreign financiers’ ownership, consisting of tactical partners, in Saudi equities, and omitting Saudi Aramco, increased from 11.11% to 11.22%, or SAR 395.72 billion, for the week.

Institutional foreign financiers, leaving out Saudi Aramco, accounted for 1.62%, or SAR 57 billion, of the overall foreign ownership in the Saudi market for the very same week.
