Nick Cave & & the Bad Seeds are back with a brand-new album. Wild Godthe follow-up to Ghosteengets here August 30, and you can hear the title track listed below. Cavern and Warren Ellis, who launched the interim album Carnage in 2021, produced the brand-new LP, with David Fridmann on blending tasks. Colin Greenwood– Radiohead bassist and at some point Cave visiting bandmate— and guitar player Luis Almau are billed as extra entertainers on the LP. Scroll down to see the tracklist and cover art.
Cavern stated in press products, “There’s no fucking around with this record. When it strikes, it strikes. It raises you. It moves you. I enjoy that about it.”
He included, “I hope the album has the result on listeners that it’s had on me. It breaks out of the speaker, and I get swept up with it. It’s a complex record, however it’s likewise deeply and joyously contagious. There is never ever a master strategy when we make a record. The records rather show back the emotion of the authors and artists who played them. Listening to this, I do not understand, it appears we’re pleased.”
The band– Cave, Ellis, Thomas Wydler, Martyn Casey, Jim Sclavunos, and George Vjestica– composed and tape-recorded Wild God at Miraval Studios in the French City of Provence and at Soundtree Studios in London. It will be launched by the label Bad Seed Ltd., in collaboration with Play It Again Sam
