New apartment fire under investigation at Donald Street highrise, no injuries

Ottawa firemens reacted over night Friday to another fire in the Donald Street house highrise where 3 homeowners were hospitalized in vital condition Thursday early morning.

In a press release, Ottawa fire services stated the current fire at 1244 Donald St. remained in the bed room of a system on structure’s 6th flooring.

Thursday’s blaze was on the 3rd flooring. That fire left 2 kids and a female in vital condition. It has actually been considered suspicious and is under examination by cops arson investigators.

In a release on X, previously Twitter, Ottawa Fire Services there were numerous calls reporting flames Friday night.

Teams rapidly started operations and the fire was stated under control at 11:46 p.m.

The Red Cross and Salvation Army were on hand to help fire victims.

There were no injuries right away reported and it’s unclear whether anybody will be displaced by the most current fire.

The reason for Friday’s fire is under examination.
