NAACP Reacts To Stephen A. Smith Defending Trump’s Claim About Being “Relatable” To Black People

Stephen A. Smith is under fire after protecting Donald Trump’s claim that Black individuals most likely discover him “relatable” due to the fact that of his legal problems.

Stephen Co-Signs Trump’s Words

The 56-year-old stated some individuals were disturbed that Trump mentioned, “Black folks discover him relatable due to the fact that of what he is going through resembles what Black Americans have actually gone through; he wasn’t lying.”

Stephen asserted, “He was informing the reality.”

“When you see the law, police, the court system, and whatever else being worked out versus him it is something that Black folks throughout this country can associate with,” he continued.

“With a few of our historical renowned figures. We’ve seen that occur throughout society. No matter race, what ethnic culture you might originate from, we relate to you when you’re suffering like that ’cause we understand we have. Which’s what he articulated,” Smith firmly insisted.

The NAACP Responds To Smith

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) required to X, previously called Twitter, to share the company’s ideas on Stephen A. Smith’s viewpoint.

“Relatable? Program of hands: Anyone in your Black household have 88 felony charges pending, applied for insolvency 6x, made an effort to topple a governmental election and our democracy, and still have the capability to go to sleep in court and imagine being POTUS?” the tweet read.
