N.W.A. Laurie Andersonand Donna Summer are set to get 2024 Grammy Lifetime Achievement AwardsThey will be honored at this year’s event in Los Angeles on February 4 together with fellow receivers Gladys Knight, Tammy Wynette, and the Clark Sisters.
Revealed today are this year’s Trustees Award winners (Peter Asher, DJ Kool Herc, and Joel Katz) and Technical Grammy winners (Tom Koboyashi and Tom Scott). The tune “Refugee” by K’naan, Steve McEwan, and Gerald Eaton is the recipient of the very best Song for Social Change Award.
The 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award receivers were Nirvana, the Supremes, Nile Rodgers, Slick Rick, Ma Rainey, Bobby McFerrin, and Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson.
