Cupid and his bow

English poem by: Raeesa Saint

Style: Love

He entered into her world and knocked her off her feet.

Like a puzzle’s last piece, he made her total.

She understands she isn’t best, however he makes her feel as though she is.

She does the exact same for him; for he is hers, and she is his.

The chances might protest them, the world not on their side,

They enjoy each other through it all, with an intense, relentless pride.

A love like that is indicated to last; after all, how might it not

when their hearts were pierced by Cupid, with a best arrow shot?
