‘Modern Family’ Star Ed O’Neill Nearly Got Into Organized Crime Instead of Pursuing Acting

Ed O’Neill, criminal activity manager? The funny star exposes that he almost pursued a profession in the mob in an interview on Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Supper On Me podcast launched today.

O’Neill stated he was brief on cash and trying to find a task in his home town, Youngstown, Ohio, in 1969, when his buddy provided to pay him for taking part in a the mob ring.
