Microsoft is checking out reports of VPN issues following the April 2024 Windows 11 upgrade.

According to The Vergethe KB5036893 security upgrade provided on April 9th causes VPNs with TPM-backed accreditations to quit working. Following the upgrade, individuals reported getting “certificate might not be discovered” mistakes.

Microsoft is familiar with the problem and states it’s “dealing with a resolution and will offer an upgrade in an approaching release.” It stays uncertain how long it will take for the repair to show up.

The only existing repair for the issue is to uninstall the KB5036893 upgrade.
