Through continued investigation, police learned there had been an “altercation” between two men who knew each other when one was stabbed by another, police said.

The man wanted in connection with the incident fled the scene before police arrived.

Police told the StarPhoenix they have identified a suspect and aren’t looking for public assistance at this time. They do not believe there is a danger to the general public.
