The ministry even more mentioned that if offered an electronic visa, the traveler will not have a visa sticker label in their passport.
“While signing in at the airport, you will be asked to show a visa issuance notification on your gadget (mobile phone, tablet) to reveal that you have a legitimate e-visa,” it stated.
The e-visa center is now available to nationals from Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, USA, China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Mongolia, the Republic of Korea and India.
How to obtain Japan e-visa?
- The visitor will need to go to the Japan e-visa site: https://www.evisa.mofa.go.jp/index and fill in the information.
- The outcomes of the visa application will be sent out to the signed up email address of the visitor.
- The visa charges will be alerted to you by email to Japanese abroad facilities where you are using.
