The ministry even more mentioned that if offered an electronic visa, the traveler will not have a visa sticker label in their passport.

The e-visa center is now available to nationals from Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, USA, China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Mongolia, the Republic of Korea and India.

How to obtain Japan e-visa?

  • The visitor will need to go to the Japan e-visa site: https://www.evisa.mofa.go.jp/index and fill in the information.
