A female who supposedly took a wig from a supplier, who she declared owed her some cash, was offered a brand-new court date on Wednesday when she appeared in the St James Parish Court to respond to a charge of basic larceny.
Latoya Owens, who appeared before administering parish judge Sasha-Marie Smith-Ashley, was informed to go back to court on April 5. She had her bail extended till that date. The court was informed that on February 15, about 8:20 p.m., the plaintiff was offering hair and hair-related items in the area of Sam Sharpe Square in Montego Bay when Owens challenged her over cash that needs to have been paid over to repair her broken automobile.
