Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu recently devastated fans when she announced that she and her island flame Davide Sanclimenti had officially parted ways for the second time, but just days after the announcement, Ekin-Su appeared to be far from broken-hearted as she was already on a plane to the bright lights of New York City.
The 29 year old star wasted no time in getting away from the UK for a much needed break as she painted on a brave face in the wake of her tense breakup, which is said to have come after a “rollercoaster of ups and downs” in their romance.
Immediately after touching down on US soil, Ekin-Su took to Instagram to begin documenting her trip, which kicked off with a taxi ride through the streets of New York City, set to Alicia Keys’ track Empire State of Mind.

Ekin-Su then went on to reveal a shot of her looking a far cry from her usual glamorous self, as she crossed the road in a pair of sweatpants and trainers, in a relatable but down to earth moment of realism that delighted fans tuning in to her Stories at home.
Alongside the short clip, Ekin-Su wrote: “I had 0 hours sleep. Jet lagged. Hair in rollers from yesterday.”
A short while later, the former Love Islander then went on to share a glimpse of where she was staying with fans, but it was the view from the window of the Empire State Building that truly captured the hearts of many fans, particularly when Ekin-Su made reference to a famous 00’s movie, as she captioned the view: “13 Going on 30 movie just popped in my head”

After a brief stop in her hotel to freshen up and get ready, it wasn’t long before Ekin-Su was out on the town as she once again channelled her usual glamorous aesthetic for the hours ahead.
Clearly unfazed by the split, Ekin-Su made the most of her trip to the big apple, by heading out to Ralph Lauren’s restaurant The Polo Bar, where the blonde stunner showed off her flawless legs in a mini dress that also featuring a daring scoop neckline.
Teaming the velvet dress with a pair of black knee high leather boots and a chic wool coat in the same timeless shade, Ekin-Su smiled for the cameras as she posed outside the iconic eatery ahead of a glamorous night out.

Once inside, Ekin-Su initially admitted she was only “sipping on water” rather than opting for a glass of wine, as Wednesday was her all important press day, a crucial part of her trip to the US.
However, a later story did see she had caved in to the temptation of a glass of red wine, as she lamented: “Wine for one?” before going on to admit she was “too old for this” and wanted to go home and sleep off her jet lag.
After retiring to her hotel for some well deserved sleep, it wasn’t long before Ekin-Su was back at work again by 8am, as she kicked off her day with a trip to the gym to help keep her body in perfect condition.
Ekin-Su then found herself whisked off to a beauty studio for a last minute hair and makeup session before her work engagement for the afternoon, with the star even documenting the process on social media, complete with her under-eye masks to help combat any hint of lingering sleep-deprivation.
After a lot of TLC and help from her glamorous crew of Dina DiPietro and Taylor Fitzgerald, Ekin-Su was ready for her press day, and opted to wear a leather pinafore and white button down shirt with high-collar detail for the occasion.
