The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation held a one-day strike across the province, hitting the picket lines for the first time in 13 years. Saskatchewan teachers are asking the government to bargain on issues most important to them and their students.

Teachers in Saskatoon rallied at three locations, including outside Midtown Plaza, where StarPhoenix photo journalist Michele Berg was on the scene.
