The Palpagos Islands in Palworld are a massive swath of land waiting to be explored. You will spend plenty of time catching a team of Pals in the early going, as well as collecting plenty of materials to build up a base and upgrade your gear, but exploration will always pull you out into the dangerous wilds. While you’re out there, you will eventually happen upon various treasure chests with the promise of some great loot inside. These chests come in different types, with each requiring a unique type of key to be opened. The rarest of these chests need a Gold Key, which is obviously the hardest to find. In fact, you can look high and low and never find one. There’s a trick to getting these special keys, and we’ll share all those juicy details.
How to get Gold Keys
While Copper and Silver Keys can be collected as loot from certain Pals, Gold Keys won’t drop from any monster in the game, even the Legendaries. The only way we’ve found to get a Gold Key is to kill an unlikely and dangerous target.
Gold Keys will drop when you fight and defeat a Black Marketeer. These special merchants are non-hostile by default, but once you attack, be ready for a fight. They, and their Pal, will be at level 40 and will not hold back in defending themselves. Once you finish them off, grab the key off of their body and hang on to it until you find a chest to use it on.

How to get wheat in Palworld
There is so much more to do in Palworld beyond catching and battling your Pals. This is also an open-world survival game, filled with crafting and base-building elements. A lot of materials, like Paldium Fragments, are natural resources you can get in the world, while others you need to grow yourself, such as wheat. Wheat, as you would expect, is necessary for making flour to cook things like cake. And cake is required for breeding Pals, so having your own supply of wheat on hand is the best way to make sure you can breed the most powerful Pals in the game. Wheat isn’t so easy to come by, so we’ll equip you with all the knowledge required to get your farm going.
How to get wheat
Wheat comes from wheat seeds, appropriately enough, so that is what we need to track down in Palworld. There are two opportunities for you to gather these seeds, the first of which requires a bit of luck. If you fight and defeat (or catch) a grass type Pal such as Dinossom, Flopie, Robinquill, Cinnamoth, or Bristla, they will drop wheat seeds as loot.

How to find Pure Quartz in Palworld
If you came into Palworld expecting it to be a reskin of Pokémon, you will realize very quickly that there’s way more to this game than catching and fighting the different types of Pals. Crafting is a major mechanic in the game, requiring you to go out and find all kinds of resources. When you start reaching the more exciting items to craft, the materials you need will get harder and harder to come by, such as Pure Quartz, which you need to make Circuit Boards. These are necessary for a lot of late-game equipment, so Pure Quartz will be a key ingredient to have on hand.
Where to find Pure Quartz
Pure Quartz only shows up in the northern part of the Palworld map called the Astral Mountains. This is a frozen tundra of an area, so you can’t waltz in without proper cold resistance gear first. Once you can withstand the cold, head into this zone and track down some Pure Quartz deposits in the environment to mine.

Palworld launched with a very respectable roster of Pals across its nine types, but unfortunately, it only has four Legendaries to start. All Legendary locations
There are currently four Legendary Pals in Palworld: Jetragon, Frostallion, Necromus, and Paladius. Aside from their raw power, Legendaries in Palworld also have exclusive Legend-level passive skills that give them +20% in Attack and Defense and plus +15% in Movement Speed.
Jetragon
Jetragon is a Dragon-type Pal you can ride as a flying mount that resides in the western region of the map near the volcanoes. You can find it by going north from the Beach of Everlasting Summer fast travel point at coordinates -792, -319.
