Maureen Crethan Santora began her profession in the New York City Public School System in 1967, where she devoted over 25 years to early youth education. After taking some time off to raise her 4 kids, including her kid Christopher, who unfortunately lost his life as a hero on September 11, 2001, Maureen retired as a personnel designer from PS 2, Queens, in July 2001. She authored a book targeted at assisting young trainees comprehend the effect of that dreadful occasion, with a message about the harmful nature of hatred.
