The very first trailer for Guy Ritchie‘s World War II drama starring Henry Cavill has actually been launched by Lionsgate.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is influenced by just recently declassified files of the British War Department, which informed of a secret band of military authorities formed by Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

From the main description: “The top-secret fight system, made up of a motley team of rogues and radicals, goes on a bold objective versus the Nazis utilizing completely non-traditional and absolutely ‘ungentlemanly’ combating strategies. Eventually their adventurous technique altered the course of the war and laid the structure for the British SAS and modern-day Black Ops warfare.”

Ian Fleming– the author of the James Bond books– was a member of the group.

The job reunites Ritchie and Cavill, who formerly teamed for 2015’s The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Ministry Stars Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, Henrique Zaga, Til Schweiger, with Henry Golding and Cary Elwes. The script was composed by Paul Tamasy, Eric Johnson, Arash Amel and Ritchie.

Rather confusingly, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare trailer gets here days after the trailer for Ritchie’s The Gentlemen — Netflix’s television series that’s a spinoff of the director’s 2020 police procedural of the exact same title. Here’s that trailer, which stars Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Giancarlo Esposito and others.

The Ministry shows up in theaters April 19.
