Google redesigns in-app feedback tool on Android and iOS [Gallery]

The “Send feedback” tool discovered in every Google mobile app just recently got a redesign to supply a more detailed experience that’s rather conversational.

Update: Some reports state this is “months” old. It’s extensively presented on Android– other than in Google Messages, while we’re just seeing this style in Gmail on iOS.

Google puts “Help & & feedback “in many applications near settings. It can be discovered either in the navigation drawer or account menu. After a list of popular aid posts, “Send feedback” is noted.

Formerly, this opened a fullscreen UI with an account picker and big text field, in addition to the capability to connect a Screenshot and System logs.

This redesign uses a “Send feedback to Google” that sums up the procedure: Answer a couple of concerns, Edit your screenshot, and Share your feedback. When it comes to the Play Store, Google asks whether you’re attempting to “Report a concern” or “Suggest a concept.”

If you choose the previous, choices consist of:

  • Download/install an app
  • Make in-app purchase
  • Get a refund
  • Report charges
  • Purchase or register for content
  • Purchase or utilize a present card
  • Other

You then get the text field with voice input used and the capability to connect a screenshot (with modifying tools). The last action– it will immediately be sent out after this– is whether Google can “email you for additional information or updates.”

We’re seeing this redesign of feedback offered in a lot of Android and some iOS apps, consisting of Gmail, Google Play, Search, and Gemini. It’s not yet live in Google Messageswhile the online experience (side panel) is the same.
