In Chapter 5 Season 1, you will come across five different medallions. These are powerful items that do not spawn as floor loot. You need to defeat certain NPCs in order to collect them.

Where to find all medallions in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, you will come across five different bosses. These bosses are spread all over the map. Each boss has one medallion on them. To get it, you will have to successfully defeat the boss.

However, these fights won’t be easy because the bosses have backups too. So before you can actually engage the boss in combat, you will have to defeat their minions. Once you’ve taken care of the smaller enemies, you can finally engage the boss.

It’s worth noting that these bosses have a large health pool and wield some really powerful weapons. However, if you manage to defeat them, not only will you be able to collect their medallions in Fortnite, but you will also get their weapons.

How to use medallions in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

You don’t need to do anything special to use these medallions in Fortnite. After you’ve collected your first medallion, you will notice that as long as the item remains in your inventory, your shields will regenerate over time.

The more medallions you possess, the quicker your shields will regenerate. It’s also worth noting that these medallions don’t carry over. So if you’ve managed to pick up all five in one match, they won’t carry over to your next match.

Instead, you will have to pick them up once again whenever you head into a new one. Furthermore, this shield regeneration occurs outside combat only.
