EXCLUSIVE: Mucho Mas Media and Bonniedale Entertainment are teaming to launch Julio Quintana’s sports drama The Long Gamestarring Jay Hernandez and Dennis Quaidon April 12 in theaters across the country.

The film made its opening night at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival, where it won the Narrative Spotlight Audience Award and notched 75% fresh evaluations on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie associates Quintana and Quaid’s reunion after the success of their very first movie, Netflix’s true-story sports drama Blue Miracle.

The Long Game, influenced by Humberto G. Garcia’s Mustang Miraclefollows the real story of 5 young Mexican American caddies in 1955 who developed their own golf course in the middle of the South Texas brush nation.
