A confidential user lost WBTCs worth approximately $71 Million today to a fraudster. A couple of hours earlier, a guy produced a brand-new wallet and moved 0.05 ETH to his brand-new address. A fraudster created an address with comparable initials and endings and moved 0 ETH to him so the transfer appeared in his deal history. While moving the funds from his old wallet to the brand-new wallet, the user inadvertently sent out the WBTC to the fraudster’s wallet.
