Child, adult taken to hospital after collision on Highway 17

A child was transported to hospital by Air ORNG following a collision Sunday on Highway 17 in the town of Renfrew.

An adult was also taken to hospital by Renfrew County paramedics following the two-vehicle crash, which occurred at about 3 p.m. at O’Brien Road.

Both patients’ injuries were considered non-life-threatening and non-life-altering, the OPP said in a news release.

An investigation continues, and anyone with information about the collision was asked to contact the Renfrew OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
