CBSE Class 12 Physics exam: 5 key formulas to high marks

Here are some important laws and theorems in physics that are often covered in the CBSE Class 12 Physics syllabus:

The current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference across its ends, provided the physical conditions such as temperature remain constant.

1. Ohm’s Law

The rate of change of momentum of an object is directly proportional to the applied force and takes place in the direction of the force.

2. Newton’s Second Law

The ratio of the sine of the angle of incidence to the sine of the angle of refraction is a constant, for the light of a given colour and for the given pair of media.

3. Snell’s Law of Refraction

The algebraic sum of currents meeting at a junction (or node) in an electrical circuit is zero.

The sum of the electromotive forces (EMFs) in any closed loop of a circuit is equal to the sum of the potential drops in that loop.

4. Kirchhoff’s Laws

The direction of the induced electromotive force (emf) or current in a circuit is such that it opposes the change that produced it.

5. Lenz’s Law

These laws and theorems are fundamental concepts in physics and are crucial for understanding various phenomena and solving problems in Class 12 Physics exams
