US-based Jamaican-born jockey Shaun Bridgemohan turned his very first ride on Jamaican soil into a winning affair, landing Division 1 of the function occasion on Saturday’s 9-race card at Caymanas Park.

Bridgemohan was aboard Phillip Feanny’s 4-5 preferred Fearless Soul in Division 1 of the George Hosang Trophy, a Restricted Allowance 4 contest for native reproduced and imported 4 years of age and up over 5 and a half furlongs. The 4 years of age chestnut colt covered the range in 1:07.3 to win by 4 and a quarter lengths.

Department 2 of the George Hosang Trophy saw notify jockey Tevin Foster closing out a 4-timer on the program astride the 5-2 opportunity Kem for fitness instructor Paul Swaby. Kem returned 1:08.2, winning by a neck. Racing continues next Saturday.
