A corps member, Iyanda Damilola, was supposedly shot dead by a police officer called Saheed SARS in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, on Tuesday, April 23.
Saheed, an operative of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), was recognized by trainees of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) for the action.
According to Damilola’s bro, Iyanda Oluwafemi, who finished from LAUTECH on Monday, the deceased was shot dead at an after-party following his convocation event. Oluwafemi, who sustained bullet injuries himself, stated Saheed led the authorities group that distributed the crowd and shot straight at individuals.
“I saw him dealing with the weapon; he was shooting with one hand up until he shot my bro,” Oluwafemi stated. “I sustained deep injuries and am presently getting treatment. I require justice for my innocent sibling.”
