Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge stated on Monday that the BJP did not welcome President Droupadi Murmu and previous President Ram Nath Kovind for the consecration event at the Ram temple in Ayodhya due to the fact that of their caste.

At a public conference in Channapatna, Bengaluru Rural, Kharge stated President Droupadi Murmu and previous President Ram Nath Kovind were not welcomed to the Pran Prathisthapana program at Ayodhya and the inaugural function of Parliament due to their caste.

“PM Modiji states that though we welcomed Congressmen to Ayodhya, they never ever showed up. Why have you not welcomed our president? You have actually not welcomed the very first resident of the nation even to the inaugural function of the Parliament,” he stated.

“Therefore, till every SC/ST and Backward Class Community individual gets entry to the temple, I will not get in the temple. Till every resident of India, regardless of his/her caste, gets entry to the temple, I will not get in the temple,” stated Kharge.
