Barrie police caution public after arrests near downtown

Homeowners in the location of Dunlop, Henry and Boys streets asked to inspect their home for any unidentified compounds or weapons

City authorities carried out a raid near downtown Barrie on Wednesday afternoon, collaring 2 individuals near Dunlop Street West and Boys Street North.

The arrests took place around 1 p.m. on May 1.

Cops likewise launched a plea on social networks at 4:15 p.m. asking individuals who live in the location of Dunlop, Henry and Boys streets “to inspect their residential or commercial property for any unidentified compounds or weapons that might have been disposed of.
