‎Aramco awards $7.7B contracts to add 1.5 bscfd of raw gas to Fadhili

Saudi Aramco granted today, April 2, engineering, procurement and building and construction (EPC) agreements worth $7.7 billion for a significant growth of its Fadhili Gas Plant in the Eastern Province.

The job is anticipated to increase the plant’s processing capability from 2.5 to approximately 4 billion basic cubic feet each day (bscfd), Aramco stated in an emailed declaration to Argaam.

This extra 1.5 bscfd of processing capability is anticipated to add to the business’s method to raise gas production by more than 60% by 2030, compared to 2021 levels.

The Fadhili Gas Plant growth is anticipated to include an extra 2,300 metric loads daily to sulphur production, and to be finished by November 2027,

The EPC agreements for the Fadhili Gas Plant increment job were granted to SAMSUNG Engineering Company, GS Engineering & & Construction Corporation, and Nesma & & Partners.

The growth supports Aramco’s aspirations to establish a lower-carbon hydrogen service, while associated liquids from gas are a crucial feedstock for the petrochemical market.
