Annual cost of personal care items up 4.1% at March

Jamaican homes dealt with greater expenses for individual care products over the in 2015.

The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) states the group ‘Personal Care, Social Protection, and Miscellaneous Goods and Services’, understood typical yearly inflation of 4.1 percent as at March.

Throughout the month of March alone, the index experienced a 0.2 percent up tick.

STATIN states this increase was associated mainly to increased rates for different individual care product or services.
