How to get Tree Candy in Pacific Drive?

Tree Candy can be found at The Scorch in the Mid-Zone or the Deep Zone in Pacific Drive. Players will find the Tree Candies around Sap Compressors, which hold Thermosap Crystals. Approach the bright glowing red Tree and interact with the branches to get Tree Candy.

There are no special tools to obtain Tree Candies. However, there’s another way to harvest Tree Candy with the use of Pacemaker.

Pacemaker Anomaly

Players can put a Plasma inside a Pacemaker to get Tree Candy in Pacific Drive. They are static, friendly, and harmless Anomalies that can be used to extract Tree Candies from Twisted Ember. Be prepared with a lot of Plasma to feed the Anomaly.

It’s worth noting that a Pacemaker will eventually run out; hence, it is recommended to prioritize your Tree Candy before putting the Pacemaker to other uses. 

How to find a Pacemaker in Pacific Drive?

Pacemakers are located in the outer Zone of the wall throughout the map, namely in locations such as Smokestacks, Damp Forest, and more in Pacific Drive. These Anomalies appear randomly in commonly traversed as well as new areas.

Other than extracting Tree Candies, the Pacemaker can be used for crafting Explosives from Crude Flashlights, recharging your car battery, and Side Storage from Anchors.
