Confirmed: $.5 million in cocaine found in oil spill zone | News Extra | trinidadexpress.com

Drug valued at over half a million dollars has actually been discovered cleaned ashore at Cove Estate, Tobago.

At around 2.40 p.m. Sunday, a black plastic bag consisting of a white compound looking like drug was discovered along the coastline.

The drug weighs roughly 1.109 kilogrammes and has a projected street worth of TT$ 515,285.76.

Officers of the Tobago Divisional Task Force and Special Intelligence Unit are examining.

Northern Division Task Force South officers along with Emergency Response Patrol officers carried out a workout in between 5 pm and 9 pm, on Sunday 18th February, 2024 in the Carapo district.

Throughout the workout, officers continued to a bushy location at Unity Lane, where they carried out a comprehensive search which led to the discovery of 3 cops functional coats, 3 sets of black tactical trousers, one authorities cap, one authorities beret, one cops reflective vest, one camouflage coat and one set of camouflage trousers.
