After a short drive, it was soon revealed that Tommy had whisked Molly off to the Lake District for the couple to enjoy a well deserved staycation, in a stark contrast to some of their more lavish getaways overseas in recent weeks.

Instead of opting for a sun soaked beach or a snow covered ski-resort, the Love Island lovers chose to spend their romantic break in the great British countryside – something which delighted fans at home for showing that the pair were also keen to explore homegrown luxury.

Documenting the trip online Molly first gave her fans a glimpse of her beautifully understated hotel room in dreamy shades of taupe, gold and brown after it had been decorated with rose petals ahead of their stay. Alongside the snap the clearly smitten reality star wrote: “Surprise staycation. Love you @tommyfury.”

Tommy also later went on to show a different view of the room they were staying in, which featured exposed brickwork, a comfy grey sofa and even floor to ceiling windows that made the most of the stunning view of the Lake District outside.

In a further snap of the luxury accommodation, Molly then showcased the huge metallic roll top bathtub, which even came with its very own rubber duck to help unwind at the end of a long day.

Molly was seen enjoyed a lovely meal

Described by the proud mum of one as the “perfect set up”, Molly could hardly wait to take a long soak and unwind with her boyfriend as they marked their first Valentine’s day post engagement together.

In a further snap taken from the break, Molly also showed off a roaring log fireplace – the perfect aesthetically cozy but functional heating source to stay toasty amid the recent plummeting temperatures.

The lowkey but equally charming break makes a stark contrast from some of the couple’s more high profile getaways in recent months but marks one of their first trips without their daughter, one year old Bambi in tow.
