As supporters for kids’s rights and wellness, Dr. Ally Dunhill, Eurochild Director of Policy, Advocacy and Communications, and Lenia Kriki, Child Participation and Policy Officer, just recently shared their insights on the critical function of kids in forming school health policies.

Their involvement in the Schools4Health EuroHealthNet workshop and Consortium Meeting, held under the Belgian EU Council Presidency, clarified the transformative capacity of including kids in health promo efforts in schools.

Schools4Health is a EuroHealthNet-led job which intends to present, enhance, and sustain the adoption of a health-promoting school method and other whole-school techniques to health. Central to both Ally and Lenia’s interventions was the acknowledgment that kids themselves are essential stakeholders whose point of views should be valued and incorporated into policy advancement, application, and examination procedures.

In this setting, as Eurochild, we were welcomed to share insights on the value of, and how, to include kids as crucial stakeholders.
