Signify has launched a new accessory for Philips Hue smart lighting in the UK and the EU; the product is also expected to arrive in the US this April. The piece allows for more creative lighting designs on your ceiling or wall. Currently, customers can only purchase the product directly from the brand via its online store.
New Philips Hue Perifo smart track lighting connectors are on sale in Europe. The Flexible connector was unveiled alongside a range of other smart home products earlier this year. The Perifo track lighting system is customizable, with various track lengths, light types and connectors to suit your wall or ceiling.
Available in black and white, the flexible accessory allows you to create different shapes with your track lighting; historically, only straight and corner connectors were available, meaning designs were limited and boxier. Product pages for the Perifo T connector have also appeared on Philips Hue’s websites in European countries. The accessory allows you to join tracks in three directions and is expected to launch sometime in Q1.
The Philips Hue Perifo Flexible connector is on sale in Europe for €34.99/£29.99. At the time of writing, the product is only available to purchase directly from the company at its online store. When it arrives, the Perifo T Connector will sell for €39.99/£34.99. The new connector shapes are due to launch in North America this April for around $34.99. In other news, Signify recently released update 5.10.0 for the Philips Hue app, which is compatible with the Perifo smart lighting products and is available for iOS and Android.
