School fees for all national schools to be paid via e-citizen – Government orders

The federal government has actually now made it obligatory for all moms and dads and guardians to pay school charges for students registered in the nation’s nationwide schools through e-citizen.

Information needed and due date

School heads are needed to send information of all accounts held by the organizations through which cost payments are made detailing the Bank, Account Number, Bank Code and Branch Code before February 6, 2024.

“Please guarantee that the previously mentioned info is sent to the Office of the Director General, State Department for Basic Education not behind February 6, 2024, on e-mail dg@education.go.ke and copy to sa.basic@education.go.ke.” Included the circular.

When all procedures are up and running, moms and dads will be recommended on how to pay charges.

Reports show that while the present stage is just targeting nationwide schools, it will function as a pilot which if effective, will see all school costs payments made through the e-citizen platform.
