Olivia Newton-John Would’ve Loved Taylor Swift’s ‘Grease’ Role, Was Big Fan

Olivia Newton-John was obviously a Swiftie– a minimum of that’s what her representative states, informing us the late vocalist would’ve gotten a bang out of these Taylor Swift‘s ‘Grease’ throwback images.

Michael CaprioOlivia’s press agent of 25 years and counting, informs TMZ … Olivia “would be tickled” to see all the youth photos of young Taylor playing Olivia’s popular character in a school production of the hit musical … which simply appeared previously today.

Olivia’s press agent includes … she “had the best regard for Taylor as an artist and she was a fan of her skill.” The truth Taylor was paying tribute to her in her youth is kismet.

As we reported … some old pictures of Taylor in character as Sandy is making the rounds … it’s from June 2000, long before Taylor was the greatest star in music.

Amusing enough, Olivia and Taylor in fact crossed courses when ONJ was still alive … Michael states Olivia took a group of sweethearts to see a Taylor show in Miami in 2010, with Olivia raving about Taylor’s efficiency.

Michael remembers Olivia informing him she believed “Taylor was such a sweet, gifted and wise woman.”

Seems like the sensations are shared … Michael states Taylor’s got a classic show tee shirt from Olivia’s 1982 Physical Tour in her closet. On its face, they were huge fans of the other.

Ya got ta love it … Taylor was more than most likely hopelessly committed to the part, and it appears Olivia would’ve actually valued that.
