MEXICO CITY – An intense highway crash in between a truck and a bus filled with travelers in Mexico’s northwestern Sinaloa state early on Jan 30 eliminated a minimum of 19 individuals, according to regional news outlet N+.

Regional authorities have yet to reveal a death toll, or the number of others were hurt in the mishap, which happened along a seaside highway that links the beach front cities of Mazatlan and Los Mochis.

Flow on the highway was closed due to the mishap, according to the N+ report.
