Long time partners star Leonardo DiCaprio and director Martin Scorsese, who most just recently collaborated for Killers of the Flower Moontook a seat for a chat about their preferred films for the website Letterboxd– and some Ghibli movies showed up throughout the chat.
DiCaprio points out that considering that Scorsese is a popular movie fanatic, it’s typically the director advising movies to the star and not the other method around. DiCaprio did make a crucial contribution to Scorsese’s cinema-going: the star advised that Scorsese enjoy Hayao Miyazaki’s Perky Away Princess Mononoke Comes up in the chat.
